Applicant – Europäisches Haus Esthal GMBH (E10293291 – DE)
The organisation is based on solid ideological foundations, it also has rich human resources. Although we are a limited liability company, this form does not prejudge our business goals, which are strictly subordinated to the statutory pro-social goals. Our main goal is to run the centre in Esthal, which maintains its monastic character, with functioning parts separated for the needs of broadly understood spirituality. Therefore, the organisation deals with providing the space needed to carry out activities for the culture of dialogue, respect and solidarity. Our other goal is to seek, nurture and implement European values by supporting the organisation of meetings, symposiums and training sessions within the centre. In addition, we support efforts to conduct international exchange and initiatives related to the broadly understood ecology and sustainable development.
Despite its short existence, the EHE fully operates within the framework of its tasks and priorities. Since the monastery, acting as both a secular and non-church institution, played a pro-social role, the organisation took on itself the responsibility of initiating a series of intergenerational and family meetings, providing its material base for this purpose. By implementing the employment policy, the organisation tries to strengthen the local socio-economic fabric, while remaining a relevant employment centre for the local community. We see the need to develop young people’s digital skills to prepare them to enter the labour market. Modern technologies also support us in promoting and implementing a sustainable, ecological lifestyle in our community. We want to share our methods and experience with others, as well as learn new ways to improve our activities and methods of working with youth.
The organisation addresses its services and activities to people of all ages and social status, but also conducts a series of projects directed entirely to young people. We help the local community on many levels, and additionally support refugees and welcome trainees from the European Union. Due to the cross-functional nature of our operations, we are experienced in working with people of all backgrounds and needs. Our numerous actions resulted in improvement in designated areas, but also helped our team develop a set of qualifications that allows us to reach further and extend our work to the transnational level. We look forward to exchanging best practices with other organisations, as well as to share our knowledge of effective and mutually beneficial cooperation with local communities.
Fundacja im. Zofii Zamenhof (E10090629 – PL)
Zofia Zamenhof Foundation aims at promoting the idea of freedom, ecology, cultural diversity and tolerance. Throughout our work, we want to show and educate on how to resolve various social problems. We contribute to increasing the skills and competences of numerous social groups in different countries. Transnational activity allows us to influence the integration processes between sundry nations. We are certain that education is what gives people the best chance to grow and evolve, leading to minimising social differences. Intercultural dialogue is possible due to accessible education. Our work consists of educating and training while crossing the international borders. We wish to disseminate knowledge provided by people sharing the ideas significant to our foundation.
The ZZF is involved in the educational and scientific activities related to the social causes and reduction of unemployment, as well as raising the awareness of ecology, teaching digital skills and promoting civic participation.
We have specialised experience with groups at the risk of social exclusion with regard to the labour market such as young people, people with disabilities, NEETs and low-skilled adults. We conducted or partnered in various projects in both youth and adult education.
We work together with our beneficiaries to educate them, mainly through social projects. We aim at providing training in social actions in the form of both soft and hard skills, with the use of digital technologies. Attempting to tailor our activities to the needs of people with fewer opportunities, we made it our priority to help this group through numerous projects and joint efforts from different European organisations.
We also firmly believe in the importance of constant self-improvement of our staff. Expanding the knowledge and experience of the organisation’s employees and educators plays a crucial role in dissemination of the foundation’s values and ideas.

CCIF works with the youth, seniors, refugees and immigrants. We develop educational platforms and e-learning tools that help schools prepare the students for the challenges of the digital era and the social and environmental realities, fostering their creativity, social inclusion, and knowledge of sustainable economy – all in order to help them become proud citizens of the world.
Thanks to CCIF, youth with educational, economical or demographic obstacles and from abusive families are flanked by EU volunteers in the implementation of activities instrumental to their process of autonomy from the point of personal and professional view, with excellent results. Our goal is to provide them with a better start in adult life.
